Virtualisation

The rate at which computing evolves in the last decade is remarkable. I wonder if computer expects have time for other things. I have been reading materials and watching videos on virtualization and I am very impressed with the concept.

Close to cloud computing in term of model, virtualization helps many organizations such as IT companies and businesses to make optimal use of their IT resources. Instead of purchasing new desktop computers most companies are now deploying latest technologies like virtualization to keep the system performance optimal.

With the obvious risk to data and network security from rogue contractual employees - those working under a mobile office and access granted to clients to access companies databases from other locations, organizations minimize these risks by deploying virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) to provide stronger layer of security thus prevent sensitive data and critical processes from being compromised.
